Super eagles win their opening game of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday to grasp the 3 points.
Nigeria beat their first opponent, Burundi with a lone goal scored by Ighalo.
The three times nations cup winners were better side in ball position and other officiating ranking than their opponent.
Despite good ball position by the Eagles, they played a barren draw at the first half of the match.
Burundi proved that they were no pushover with Stoke City striker Saido Berahino proving to be a handful for the Nigeria defence.

Paul Onuachu started ahead of Odion Ighalo upfront as Super Eagles failed to make their dominance count, until Rohr introduced Ighalo in the second half.
Aina was decisive as he laid the crucial assist pass to Odion Ighalo to bury graciously in the 77th minute.
A lone goal from striker Odion Ighalo was enough to settled the Super Eagles with three points as they beat Burundi 1-0
