The Governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2019 election, Biokpomabo Festus Awara, has finally spoken on the supreme court verdict in favour of Governor Wike and thanked Rotimi Ameachi.

Awara, while reacting to the supreme court judgement that affirmed the Rivers State governor of his victory blamed his party-men for betraying him in the court.

He accused some members of his party, AAC of working with Governor Wike at the tribunal and all through the Appeal process.

But, he however thanked the Minister of Transport, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Ameachi for standing by him and supporting him throughout the process.

“From the depth of my heart, I say thank you a million times to Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and his APC family in Rivers State as silver and gold I don’t have to repay them for what they have done to me.

“It is my humble prayers that God should guide and gthuard their footsteps unto eternity.”

Meanwhile, he berated his party’s men of been induced with more money and worked against him and that of the Party.

A seven-man panel of the apex court unanimously upheld the judgments of two appeals by Governor Wike on the grounds of merits.

Though Wike had thanked the supreme court her decision to upheld his elections.

Awara spoke on the PDP inducing him with Billions of Naira but he rejected.

Also he alleged that one of party’s member, Henry Bello Esq withdrawn the case he filed not because he was not able to pursue but on his personal grounds.
