Protest: PDP lock up Abuja over Supreme Court’s ruling against Ihedioha (Video)

The Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, lead a massive protest in Abuja against the Supreme Court ruling against Emeka Ihedioha.

This online media had reported the nationwide protest on Sunday that was in solidarity of PDP candidate against the ruling that favoured Hope Uzodinma of APC.

Theprotesters are requesting for the reversal of the Supreme Court Judgement.

The Imolite are chanting rejection songs against Hope Uzodinma, saying he is not the governor they elected.

An hashtag #SaveTheJudiciary was what was seen on the placards as protesters took to the streets of Abuja.

These were some of the inscriptions seen on the placrds of the protester;

“IMO judgement is a fraud”.

“Our judicial system is not a department of the APC”.

“Stop robbing PDP of its mandate,”

“Stop influencing the judiciary”,

” Stop compromising our judiciary, ”

“Ogun PDP says no to injustice”.

Recalled that, Last Tuesday the apex court, in a unanimous decision, ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to issue Uzodinma a certificate of return.
