PDP give reasons why INEC Chairman Must Resign

The People’s Democratic Party has given reasons why the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and the INEC Chairman, Yakubu Mahmoud must resign their position following the allegation meted on them by the embattled former acting chairman of EFCC.
This was contained in a statement released by the National Publicity Secretary of PDP Youth Alliance (PDPYA), Dr Emeka Kalu.
Kalu insisted that Mahmoud must resign over purported plan to rig the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo State for his employee, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
It would be recalled that Mr. Jackson Ude had alleged that the suspended Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, had allegedly confessed that he gave N4 billion, part of the looted fund recovered to VP Osinbajo
Daily Tells understands that N39 billion proceed of recovery has been re-looted.

Meanwhile, the media aide, to the vice President, Laolu Akande, Osinbajo denied receiving any money from Magu.
Mr. Akande said that the news is been peddled by rumour monkers who are out to smear Osinbajo’s image to the public.
The former EFCC boss has been arrested by the SSS and he has been interrogated on the money he recovered from the looters.
