The General Overseer of Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo has approved and released the sum of N650 million for the repair of bad roads.
The Bishop made this known to the congregation and the public, “that to the glory of God, the Church is undertaking repairs of roads.”
According to reports, he said that the repairs will cover the old toll gate bordering Lagos and Ogun States as well as stretches of the Idi-Iroko expressway from Oju Ore to Iyana Iyesi.
However, the presiding Bishop, David Oyedepo disclosed that N650 million budgeted for the road construction had already been approved and disbursed to contractors.
He said Canaanland is the home where giants are birthed to take dominion and rule their world.
The work is ongoing, though there was rumors that the government stalled the progress of the construction before now.
It was alleged that the government did not approved the construction of the road because the roads belongs to the government.
