Nothing can make igbos to abandon biafra

The People of South East Nigeria has again maintained their previous stand on the struggled for Biafra, that nothing can make Igbos to abandon Biafra.

One of the Leaders (name withheld) in the struggle of Biafra dropped this in our news diary section where he claimed that all Igbos are in the Struggle, even those in government.

He gave an instance about the just concluded burial of the IPOB leader’s parents which took place of Feb 14. He boosted that Igbos were fully represented.

Some of the Names in the attendance were the former governor of Anambra State who was the Vice Presidential candidate of PDP in the 2019 Presidential elections.

Senator Abaribe who is currently a principal officer in the ninth assembly (minority Leader of the Senate) and othe senior citizens in Igbo Land.

Recalled that the Former President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, who was also the deputy national leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Dr. Dozie Ikedife, some years ago told President Muhammadu Buhari to forget the thought of wishing Biafra away saying that Igbo people would never forget Biafra.

Also, Ikedife, who was a strong supporter of President Buhari during the electioneering campaigns, stressed that nothing would make Igbo to abandon the Biafra struggle.

His words: “How can we forget Biafra when the life of every Igbo man was reduced to be worth only 20 pounds, and some of us refused to collect our own till date?

“How can we forget Biafra when the Reconciliation, Rehabilitation and Reintegration which was declared after the war was never implemented?

He went further to expressed his anger and optimism on the actualization of Biafra.

“How can we forget Biafra when for 30 months our territory was landlocked and we watched our children die of starvation? Tell us how we can forget Biafra? Tell President Buhari that we will never forget Biafra. Never!

“Even if all the people that experienced the war died, Biafra would never be forgotten as the story would always be told from generation to generation.”

He called on the Nigerian government to do the needful and stop delaying the future of others, call for referendum and see if it will work or not.

While making more commitment he said that the struggle for Biafra is a non-violence group, that the Igbo people of Nigeria had a right to self determination and would continue to push for it, using non violent means for its actualisation.

Recalled that Nnamdi Kanu boosted during his media chat to his audience earlier this month thatnone can bring down the struggle.

He (Kanu) had cautioned that no one can stop the IPOB, including that the crucial the gathering which has since been banished by the Federal Government organised by President Muhammadu Buhari.

His words: “Nobody has paid us to do what we are doing, our mission is divine, God in heaven sent us to do what we are doing.

“If you like, buy all the media houses in the world, CNN, BBC, The Washington Post, do you think anybody can stop IPOB?” The IPOB leader questioned
