The former minister of Aviation and Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has described Nnamdi Kanu as the most powerful and courageous leader in the whole southern part of Nigeria.
Fani-Kayode made this against the of Presidential visit to Japan and the accompanying protest by the members of the IPOB, acting under the instruction of their leader Nnamdi Kanu.
He outlined the following as the yardstick for his rating and warned that Nigerian government should not ignored this man (Nnamdi) because they made mistake in the first place by treating him with levity.

Fani-Kayode went futher to describe the IPOB leader as most powerful leader with genuine followers
His words: “Kanu is the most courageous and most powerful southern leader in Nigeria today.
“He says things that other southern leaders think but dare not say.
“He is a formidable force and a major factor in our politics.
