The family of The First indigenous military Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Late Air Commodore Otuekong Idongesit Okon Nkanga OFR (rtd) has appreciated the senator representing Obong Bassey Albert popularly known as OBA.
In a statement duly signed by the wife of the deceased, Mrs Funmi Idongesit Nkanga only eulogized Senator Bassey Albert for his support to the burial ceremony of Her husband, Idongesit Nkanga. She ignored other senators in the state.
In her statement, it was noted that the other two senators representing Eket and Ikot Ekpene Senatorial districts respectively were not present nor send any support to the success of the burial the former military administrator.
It would be recalled that, Late Nkanga was the DG campaign for Udom Emmanuel for the two consecutive times and also the DG for Akpabio’s second term.
Meanwhile it was also reported by some notable media groups that HE Sen. Godswill Akpabio did not attend his burial though reason for this action was not made public.
