1. Court Approves Emergency NEC Meeting Against Oshiomhole

The Federal High Court in Maitama, Abuja, Nigeria’s seat of power has given approval for Emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) scheduled for 17th March 2020.

The presiding judge warned those against the meeting not to disrupt the NEC meeting on the scheduled date or any subsequent date pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice already filed.

2. APC Chairmen Denies Ever Passing Vote of Confident on Oshiomhole

All the State Chairmen of ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, denied ever meeting on the case for the embattled National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

State Chairmen Forum, described the report of passing vote of confidence on Oshiomhole as fraudulent.

According to the  publicity secretary, Lawal Liman, said no such decision was reached by the State Chairmen’s forum.

3. Buhari Shunned Oshiomhole, Supports Giadom for APC leadership

President Buhari has openly shunned the embattled APC chairman, Adams Oshiomhole as he throws his weight to Victor Giadom as he takes over the leadership of the party.

As reported by the PUNCH Giadom was escorted by the Security men under the directives of the President Buhari’s Inspector General of Police to take over the running of the party’s official duties in the secretariat at 10:55 am amidst tight security.

4. Breaking News: Victor Gaidom takes over from Oshiomhole

Victor Gaidom has taken over the leadership role of the All Progressive Congress, APC from Comrade Oshiomhole.

Gaidom, said he has since assumed position as the acting national secretary of the Party, APC.

According to Gaidom, Adams Oshiomhole is no longer the chairman of the All Progressives Congress following his removal by the Federal Captial Territory High Court in Abuja.

5. Kano State Government Denies Banishing Emir Sanusi

The Kano State Government, through the Attorney General of the State, Ibrahim Muktar, has denied the allegation of banishing the dethroned Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II.

Recalled that after the announcement dethronement of His Highness, Emir Sanusi, it was reported that he has been banished to the neighboring Nasarawa State amidst tight security.

6. Amaechi Did Not Support Dakuku’s Re-Appointment

10. NAFDAC Warns Nigerians Against Packaging Hot Food With Nylon

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration Control (NAFDAC) has warned Nigerians that polythene bags otherwise known as nylon is not good for packaging hot food.

Professor Mojisola Adeyeye, the Director-General of NAFDAC, while granting interview with some newsmen on Monday in Abuja gave the warning on Packaging hot food with nylon.

Adeyeye said: “Packaging of pap in nylon is not encouraging; leaves are all over place, leaf is the best thing to use for packaging item and it must be clean.
