The People of Imo State took to the streets in all the LGA to protest against the Supreme Court judgement that removed Emeka Ihedioha as governor.
Thousand of youths are marching through the streets, carrying banners, placards and chanting solidarity songs for Emeka Ihedioha.
The court had ruled in favour of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Candidate, Hope Uzodinma but the people have rejected the Supreme court Verdict.
Recalled that last week Tuesday, the Court in a unanimous judgement had ordered the Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC) to issue Uzodinma a certificate of return.
The Imolite are chanting rejection songs against Hope Uzodinma, saying he is not the governor they elected.
Many placards were displayed against APC led government and the Supreme Court.
However, the protest was observed by PDP faithfuls all over the country in solidarity with their Party’s candidate, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.
The PDP took first in the election while APC came far fourth position.
Many questions asked are how did apex court manufactured votes to the candidate the declared as the winner.
