Manchester United FC defeated Chelsea FC

Odion Ighalo’s newly signed club, Manchester United FC defeated Chelsea FC at Stamford Bridgee with a 2:0 win on Monday night.

Goals that made the Red Devils victorious cane from Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire either side of half-time secured Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side all three points in west London.

Chelsea had two goals but were ruled out by VAR.

The win against the Blues ended a three-game winless run for the Reds.

However, Chelsea had been without a win sin January 11th.

Chelsea were dealt an early blow when N’Golo Kante had to be replaced by Mason Mount after 10 minutes.

Even at the provocation of the game Maguire was fortunate to stay on the pitch after kicking out at Michy Batshuayi.

That galvanised United, who pushed for a second and got it through Maguire in the 66th minute.

Fernandes delivered a deep corner from the left, and the United captain planted a powerful header past Willy Caballero from 12 yards.

Meanwhile, Chelsea FC has responded to the defeat as they put the blame of Frank Lampard.

“Lampard on decisions that cost us tonight: ‘They are crucial. Maguire should get a red and then he scores the second goal. That’s what VAR was brought in for, to check different.
