We have complied the news about Shiites movement and Boko Haram for your updates due to issues going on now in the government of President Buhari on security and freedom.

Nigeria’s Shia (Shiites)

At least 20 members of Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) was killed during their protest last week in the capital city of Nigeria, Abuja, against the detention of its leader since 2015.

About three members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) died in detention on Wednesday due to injuries sustained from bullet wounds.

Nigerian government under President Buhari has proscribed IMN also known as Shiites.

Furthermore, the government has not proscribed killer herdsmen but, the IPOB were also proscribed in 2017.

It will be recall that the federal government on Friday obtained the court order to proscribe the Islamic Movement Organisation as a terrorist group just like she did to IPOB.

On Thursday last week an ex parte application marked FHC/ABJ/CS/876/2019 was filed in the name of the “Attorney-General of the Federation” for proscription of Shiites.

Bail: The Kaduna State High Court will deliver judgement on the bail application filed by Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), also known as Shiites.

Human rights activist and constitutional lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) has condemned the proscription of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) aka Shiites by the Federal Government as immoral and illegal.

Many people are of the opinion that the federal government have erred in proscribing Shittes movement. That, tagging them as the terrorist group is poorly managed while the Herdsmen are going round fomenting problems, killing with guns.

Some notable Nigerians who pleaded anonymity reacted that Shiites and Boko Haram are not of the same operations, Boko Haram is a terrorist group aimed at destroying lives to capture territories but IMN is just a religion organisation from the Muslim religion.

Boko Haram

The activities has been a threat to the National security and alots has been said by the federal government but the activities of these men have not been curb totally.

Just last weekend Boko Haram has killed 60 people from the Northern part of Nigeria.

Boko Haram attacked unarmed men on a funeral procession in Borno State, which led to the death of over 60 mourners.

Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the killings of these men (Boko Haram)

He wrote on his official twitter handle, “Every day, our conscience and wisdom as a nation is challenged, to bring an end to this despicable & dastardly horror.”

Boko Haram has really terrorized the Northern part of Nigeria and thousands of people have been killed, seems as if some elites from this zone are not really worried about it the way they reacted when Jonathan was in power. Anonymous comment.

It will be recalled that Buhari in the build up for the election that brought him to power was totally against the attack by the federal government under Johnathan against Boko haram members.

The situation that has not been curb in his administration.
