The Kaduna State House of Assembly Speaker, Alhaji Aminu Shagali, has resigned his position.
According to Daily Tells Nigeria reports that the speaker’s resignation came amid alleged plans by some of his colleagues in the assembly to impeach him.
However, the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Mr Tanimu Musa, told NAN that the speaker “honourably tendered his resignation” today Tuesday 25th during plenary.
However, Musa said that former speaker will still perform his normal duties as member of the assembly, he is still the representative of his constituency.
Just yesterday, the governor of the State, Nasir El-Rufai dropped his ambition for 2023 president and throw his support for Southern Presidency.
