Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State, South South Nigeria has defended his actions of appointing her daughter into his cabinet.
Okowa, says he has done perfectly well for the appointment and he owes nobody any apology.
He made this known while speaking at a media briefing in Asaba, the state’s capital yesterday.
He said the daughter is qualified for the position and asked if she is not from the state and Nigeria.
Adding that the appointment was for girl’s child education.

However, the governor insisted that anyone that want to govern the state won’t come from him because he is just a governor and not god.
He ended by saying, “I owe nobody any apology for appointing my daughter.
