God will restore Fatoyinbo

The Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, north-central, Rev. Israel Akanji, has spoken in favour of Biodun Fatoyinbo’s rape allegation, God will restore Fatoyinbo even if he is guilty.

According to the Chairman, he gave a favourative statement in support of Pastor of COZA.

His word: “God will restore Pastor Fatoyinbo even if he is guilty of the allegations or not.”

The man of God, Akanji stated this while preaching to his congregation the First Baptist Church in Garki area of Abuja reiterated that guilty or not guilty of the allegation Pastor Fatoyinbo will be restored.

Recall that it was earlier reported on that some leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) visited Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) to show support to their senior pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo, over the rape allegations leveled against him by Busola Dakolo.

The visitation of the CAN chairman and others had received a lot of criticism from the public, but it seems as Rev. Israel Akanji, is still maintaining his stance and defending his action without wavering.

While preaching to his members at the First Baptist Church in Garki area of Abuja, he re-emphasized that God will restore Fatoyinbo even if he is found guilty of the rape allegation against him or not.

Backing his statements from the biblical standard the clergy expanciated the account of the condemned thief with Jesus Christ at the Cross of Calvary,that Jesus still forgive him and assured him a place in his paradise. In his words: “I still pray for that pastor Fatoyinbo and will continue to do that.

Even if he erred, which I am not sure of; I have no right to judge him because I don’t know whether the allegations against him are true or false. We are humans and not God that knows the secrets of secrets. I still pray that God will restore him fully to the work of the ministry he has called him to do.

“We always pray for individuals locked up by the EFCC who are seen to be the worst people the dwell here on earth, repentance is what Christianity should be bothered about.

“As a church, we needed to go and speak and pray with them because of what they were passing through and that is what we did and we will continue.

“I am a Pastor and I believe in the scripture of Jesus Christ, First Baptist Church, Garki, Abuja have no regret that I went to that church (COZA). I didn’t go to COZA to endorse evil but I wanted to say that even if you are the worst sinner, Jesus Christ still has a place for you, who am I to judge?

He went further to say that “If Jesus was in our generation, he would have been criticized for almost everything.

Infact, what people say does not matter. Is what the scripture says should be our guide to our actions.

Biodun will be Restore because God is Merciful

“I pray that all those who have seen this as an entry point to fight the Christian faith in this nation will fail in the name of Jesus. God, I pray for that Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo.

The Pastor told me that while he was in school he gave his life to Christ in the Baptist Student Fellowship of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Ilorin.

“However, I didn’t go to COZA because he was a Baptist. No, I didn’t know he had anything to do with Baptist. I just went there as the holy spirit directed me and he saw me as a father.

“I thank you, God, I pray that you intervene such that the needed correction should there be any, be made.

And God, you, who denied Peter after he denied you in your mercy, you will restore your servant.

I pray that the family which felt wounded, should that be true, please heal their minds, and restore them as well.”
