Former Speaker dumps PDP, joins APC in Imo State

A Former Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Godfrey Dikeocha, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Dikeocha dumped PDP to All Progressive Congress, despite the fact the his former Party, PDP is the ruling Party in the State.

He hailed the President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti-graft policy as he defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the PDP.

The erstwhile political stalwart of PDP announced his defection at his hometown in Ndigbo Uvuru, Aboh Mbaise Local Government when leaders of APC visited him on Thursday.

He said, he believed in the President’s anti corruption war, and that President Buhari has started doing some visible work to the South East.

According to him: “Even in PDP days, we orchestrated the 2nd Niger Bridge that never took off, but today something is going on in the place, including renovation work going on in Akanu Ibiam International Airport.

He urged his political allies to join him in APC to bring development to the region.
