Tony Iwelu, Chief Security Officer, CSO, to the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has been assassinated.
Information made available to us through Daily Post from close to the Minister said the DSS Officer died of electrocution at his hotel room in Kaduna.
Recalled that the minister of information was attacked same day as it was reported that he escaped from the attack, but the minister seems to denied the attack until the co-convener of #BringBackOurGirls Campaign, Aisha Yesufu told the public that the Minister was indeed attacked.
Reasons for this cover up is yet to be understood, but according NAN, close source to Ameachi confirmed his attack.
According to Yesufu, “Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, you should be ashamed of yourself. My sister, my brother and my sister-in-law were on that train. When your convoy scattered and you fled like a newborn mouse whom water have been poured on, it was witnessed! Governance is not by lies and propaganda!
“So Amaechi thought he had security, and he was immune to the insecurity that affects the rest of us.
Yesufu, lamented that even President Buhari is not secured in this country, as the National Security officer has accussed the Cheif of Staff of hijacking the security council from the President.
“Even the President is not secure. What he has is illusion of security. The more these attacks happen, the more likely we are going to be victims.” Her words.
However, sources close to the minister, Rotimi Ameachi said Iwelu (PSIO), who served as Amaechi’s CSO since he started his political career as the speaker till now as a minister is dead.
Daily Tells Nigeria understands that Ameachi’s CSO was pronounced dead by DSS after he was found electrocuted by the Shower rose in his hotel room.
