The Federal government has approved that four stadiums located at Surulere, Ibadan, Abuja and Kaduna from henceforth be used as isolation centre for Coronavirus cases.
The government also converted all National Youth Service Corps, NYSC orientation camps in the country to be be used as isolation centres.
This was made known to the public through the Minister for Youth and Sport, Sunday Dare in a post on his official Twitter page.
Dare said: “Mr. President has approved for the Ministry of Youth and Sports to open and make available the stadiums in Surulere Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja and Kaduna as well as our NYSC camps nationwide for use as isolation centers as they are needed.
“ We are in touch with relevant authorities.”
Meanwhile, the Nigeria has recorded 65 cases of COVID-19 tested positive and 2 dead.
