Akwa Ibom State, South South Nigeria has recorded first coronavirus case as five (5) persons has been tested positive for deadly COVID-19 pandemic.
As reported by @NCNCgov on the official twitter account and the website, Akwa has recorded 5 cases making the total number of affected persons in Nigeria to rise to 174.
“Twenty-three new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Lagos, 7 in the FCT, 5 in Akwa Ibom, 1 in Kaduna and 1 in Bauchi State”.
It was posted and reported on 1st April that the COVID19 in Nigeria has recorded 174 cases as at 8pm.
“As at 08:00 pm 1st April there are 174 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths.”
However, the State government had before now given an order for social distancing and to use all the preventive measures to avoid wide spread of the virus.
