Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe emerges the senate minority Leader for the 9th Assembly.
Abaribe is a senator representing Abia South, in Abia State, he was the former deputy governor of the state Under Orji Uzor kalu who has now joined him in the senate.
Senator Abaribe has been in the senate from 2007 till date.
The Nation reports that, Abaribe emerged minority leader of the senate at the meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the Maitama residence of the National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus.
Among other positions filled in by the party hierarchy are Senator Emmanuel Bwacha from Taraba South was returned as Deputy Minority Leader, while Senator Philips Aduda (FCT) was retained as the Minority Whip.
