BREAKING: Gov. Obaseki’s Coronavirus Test Result Is Out

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State result for Coronavirus (COVID-19 has been released, this was made known by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr. Crusoe Osagie.

Osagie disclosed that Mr. Obaseki has tested negative for the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).

He, however stated that the result that is released is that of the rapid diagnostic test.

Meanwhile the governor awaits the result from the PCR test.

His words: “I can confirm that the governor tested negative for coronavirus when he ran the rapid diagnostic test for the virus. However, we are currently awaiting the result of more conclusive PCR test.”

“In the meantime, the governor has decided to continue to work in self-solation and he is asymptomatic,” the statement reads.

This online media understands that the embattled Governor of Edo State had visited the Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari who has been tested positive.

His visit was alongside his speaker who has been tested positive and his political rivalry, Adams Oshiomhole for political reconciliation.

The Governor Obaseki had gone into self-isolation few hours after the speaker of the Edo House Assembly tested positive to COVID-19.

Obaseki went into self isolation. He has been tested negative for COVID-19.
