Just In: The Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers state strikes out Uche Secondus’ Appeals.

The court gives go ahead for Peoples’ Democratic Party’s (PDP) National Convention scheduled for 30th to 31st October, 2021.

Recall this online media had earlier reported the decision of the court to hear and rule on the motion for Interim order of injunction brought by Secondus against the PDP and others.

However, the Appeal court with three-man appeal panel led by Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani after listening to the argument from the parties, ordered counsel to the plaintiff to serve the process on the defendant’s Counsel within 24 hours.

Meanwhile, court the has given the judgement on the motion brought by the embattled chairman and has struck out the case.

The court affirmed with the decision of the Peoples’ Democratic Party.

Therefore, the National convention of the Party holds on 30th to 31st of October, 2021.
