Daily Tells recalls that Nigerian Police, Anambra command had clashed with the youths of IPOB in Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State on Monday.
The Police were reportedly attacked at the house of the pro-Biafra activist lawyer, Ejiofor after the Burial of his brother, the member of the IPOB in that community were killed and this lead to the attack of the police officers in a reappraisal attack.
Giving a report on the conflict on Tuesday, John Abang, police commissioner for Anambra, stated: “I’ll like Nigerians to realize that Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, an individual from the banished IPOB, has been declared wanted,” he said.
“We implore law-abiding Nigerians from North, South East or West who have information about this man to report to the nearest police station.
“He is a member of the proscribed IPOB, and he is wanted in connection with the killing of two policemen. We implore anyone who has information on him to report to us.” The CP declared.
Nnamdi Kanu while reacting to the clash in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Kanu alleged that the police invaded Ejiofor’s home in an attempt to assassinate him and his family members.
Kanu called on Buhari’s government to stop the “ongoing Jihad in Biafraland.
