Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), says Supreme Court’s judgement for Douye Diri as the governor-elect of Bayelsa State and the sacking of David Lyon, is meant to divert attention of Nigerians from the the judgment it delivered in Imo State in favour Hope Uzodinma.

Kanu, made this allegation on Thursday Evening while making a live broadcast to his listeners on Radio Biafra all over the world.

The IPOB leader, said that the APC lead government is confused and will continue to cover up to deceived people.

This online media had earlier reported on the court’s decision against the All Progressive Congres Candidate, Chief Douye Diri.

A five-man panel of the Supreme Court led by Justice Mary Odili ordered Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw the Certificate of Return issued to the All Progressives Congress’ candidates as the winners of the November 16, 2019 governorship election in the state.

In a unanimous judgement, the five-man panel ordered INEC to immediately issue fresh certificates to the candidates of the party with the next highest votes.
