Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, PACAC, Itse Sagay, lamented on how APC has lost control of States.
Sagay, pointed out that the All Progressive Congress, APC will lose more States now and before 2023 general elections.
The professor of Law expressed his anger on the way and manner the National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomole is handling the affairs of the party.
He said the aggressive behaviour and approach of Oshiomole towards Party members made the party lost some states to Opposition in the last elections.
He spoke on the party losing Edo State which is currently APC control state, if things continue the way it is now.
While speaking with Daily Independent, the PACAC Chairman said that Oshiomhole once ignored his advice on the need to be less confrontational and combative in solving political issues with the party members.
“I have advised Oshiomhole rather unsuccessfully to stop being combative, to stop punching and all these aggressive behaviour.
“In a leadership position, you need to stoop to conquer, you need to be restrained.
“Even when people are wrong and you want to correct them, you need to show that you are not after humiliating them and that you will work with them to correct things; not to be aggressive, threatening and engaging in pugilistic method.
“I told him this but he ignored it. Because of his aggression, we have lost quite a number of states.” His words.
Daily Tells understands that APC lost more states to PDP in the just concluded general elections.
Most of the States where not able to field candidates because of the lapses from the National leadership of the Party.
However, Sagay, saying APC will lose more state before 2023 is in confirmation of what happened in the 2019 elections.
