The Federal High Court in Maitama, Abuja, Nigeria’s seat of power has given approval for Emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) scheduled for 17th March 2020.
Justice S.U. Bature on Wednesday granted an interim order against Babatunde Ogala, National Legal Adviser; Lanre Issa-Onilu, National Publicity Secretary and Waziri Bulama, National Secretary.
The presiding judge warned those against the meeting not disrupt the NEC meeting on the scheduled date or any subsequent date pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice already filed.
The court ruled on ex-parte filed by APC National Vice Chairman (North East), Salihu Mustapha against the trio. Mustapha is one of the Oshiomhole-must-go NWC members.
With this verdict, Victor Giadom has taken over the party, as the court has given a go ahead order on his faction to host the NEC meeting of the Party.
As reported by the PUNCH Giadom was escorted by the Security men under the directives of the President Buhari’s Inspector General of Police to take over the running of the party’s official duties in the secretariat at 10:55 am amidst tight security.

Gaidom, said he has since assumed position as the acting national secretary of the Party, APC.
According to Gaidom, Adams Oshiomhole is no longer the chairman of the All Progressives Congress following his removal by the Federal Captial Territory High Court in Abuja.
Recalled, the APC Governors had earlier Supported Oshiomhole’s Suspension and asked NEC to Replace Him Immediately.
Oshiomhole’s travail began when he wanted to pocketed his successor, Godwin Obaseki, Governor of Edo State.
He was however, Suspensed was Since November 2, 2019, by his Ward 10 Executives.
