Adams Oshiomole is not our Leader – APC

Oshiomhole statement on petrol

The ruling All Progressive Congress, APC has disowned Comrade Adams Oshiomole as their party Leader.

The Edo State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress made this known to the Public that the ‘suspended’ chairman of the party was not their leader and he remained suspended.

According to the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the State, Anselm Ojezua, the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, is not and was the leader of the party in the state.

He made this statement on Saturday, while speaking to our reporters after a meeting with party leaders in Edo North at Jattu-Uzaire, Etsako West Local Government Area of the state.

Anselm claimed that, the Leader of the Party in the State is the State governor, Godwin Obaseki and not Oshiomole.

Ojezua said: “There’s nothing to be afraid of as no man is God and God is firmly standing with Edo people.

He restated that there is no division in the Party as claimed by rumour mongers, he called on the Public to ignore such insinuations.

Anselm boosted that, the who is who in APC and the Politics in Edo is with Godwin Obaseki.

That, such fight has been there in the state before now and Edo People always fought against such monsters.

He said during Lucky Igbinedion such issue arose between Late Tony Anenih and the People rose up against it and Lucky was seen and recognised as the Leader.

Same came up during the controversial Chairman, Adams Oshiomole, some people said they are the leaders of the party in the state, that Oshiomhole isn’t a politician but a trade union leader.

But, in all the people stood against such manipulation and Oshiomole was the Leader.

Even in the Second Term of Adams, Ize-Iyamu brought fracas within the Party that he would decide who would lead the party in Edo State, we kicked against it.

“When we resisted Ize-Iyamu, he got annoyed and threatened to quit the party. He specifically said once he left, the APC in Edo State would die.

Since he left the Party has recorded a huge success and now we heard that he has returned to the Party through the back door.

There is no level of intimidation that will make us not to stand by our leader who is the governor.

Meanwhile, Adams Oshiomole remained suspended.
