Nigerian Army in Massive recruitment

The Nigerian Army (NA) under The Chief of Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai has started massive recruitment into its Short Service Commission and Direct Service Commission.

The Nigerian Army force made this known through his official social media accounts on twitter and facebook page on Wednesday, August 14.

The force published that adding that its website is now open for application.

The army, however, urges the applicants to make applications for recruitment through his website alone.

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai, asked soldiers to tread carefully in their dealings with police officers in the coming weeks.

Buratai issued a letter dated Friday, August 9, and copied to all the forces in the nation.

He cautioned travelling military personnel to do so in mufti if necessary in order to avoid confrontations with policemen.

The letter, which has the reference number AHQDAIOPS/G3/240/232 and written on behalf of the COAS by Brig. General F Omoigui, was titled, ‘Need for troops to be circumspect in dealing with members of the Nigeria Police.’
