COZA: Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo Returns to Pulpit

The senior Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, once again returns to pulpit on Sunday.

Fatoyinbo mounted the podium and took the microphone, attracted a large crowd on Sunday members were seen screaming, shouting and cheerful as he took the stage for the first time since Busola Dakolo accused him of raping her.

Pastor Fatoyinbo, had took to his Instagram page to announced that he was stepping down from the pulpit until after the rape saga is settled.

His Previous statement: “The last days have been very sobering for me and I have taken the time to seek spiritual advice from Christian leaders in Nigeria and around the world who feel very concerned about the current report in the media.

“I have requested your guidance on the actions I must take that is to honor our Lord Jesus Christ and the work he has called me to do.

“Based on his advice and the leadership of COZA and because of my love for the work of the Lord and the sacred honor of my call, I have decided to take a leave of absence from the pulpit of the church.”

Recall that this came immediately after the protests that asked the cleric to renounce the accusations made by Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola.

It was allege that Dakolo’s wife was forcefully raped by the founder of COZA, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo when she was 16.
