The Peoples’ Democratic Party has reveal plans to remove Governor Aminu Masari from office through court because of his educational qualification.

According to the lead counsel to the PDP, Goddy Uche, SAN, said Governor Masari had no requisite educational qualification to contest the last governorship election.

While speaking with the journalist in Katsina yesterday, the lead counsel to the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Uche said the governor’s full name is Aminu Bello Masari and that did not appear in all the certificates submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Uche said the certificates only bear “Aminu Bello”.

It was also revealed that all the certificates were also faulted for having different dates, adding that some of them had no reference or identification details.

“The governor said he completed his primary school on its certificate in 1951. But his father, however, said his son was born in 1950.

“There is no basis for the governor to even remain there, the certificate from England has no logo and a higher diploma, you can’t do that without diploma. These are clear before the court,” he said.

This online media understands that Governor Masari is the executive governor of Katsina state, already serving his second term as stipulated by the law that you can rule for 8years if re-elected after serving the first term of 4years.

Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari was the speaker house of representative in the 5th assembly. He was in the PDP but joined forces with other progressives to form the All Progressive Congress. He is one of the founding members of APC.

It will be recalled that PDP is accusing President Muhammadu Buhari of certificate forgery and Gov. Aminu Bello Masari is also a governor from the home state of the President. The duo are having the same case with the main opposition party both in the state and the Federal level.
